Message from the CEO
Climater is a fast-growing leader in building mechanical services of all type. A unique alloy, lightweight and highly resilient, created from our commitment to combine the proximity, flexibility, and responsiveness of regional SMEs, backed by expertise combined at a central holding structure (strategy, organization, performance optimization, HR development, etc.).
Since 2007, the successful integration of 42 companies has not only ensured their long-term future through strong growth, but also enhanced our diversification as well as expanded our geographic reach, significantly strengthening the Group. Our teams have leveraged economies of scale and shared knowledge, including insights from newly acquired companies, all while preserving each company’s identity and the relationships they’ve built with their employees, clients, and partners.
Both our daily and long-term actions are guided by simple principles and objectives that create a virtuous cycle for our companies:
- Individual and collective commitment within a highly autonomous environment fosters accountability and personal development;
- Ongoing pursuit of technical and environmental performance for our clients’ systems, driven by continuous improvement of our methods and a training policy based on apprenticeship for our workers, technicians, and engineers;
- Constant focus on our companies’ profitability, enabling us to share value with our 2,500+ employees, more than 500 of whom are shareholders of the Group;
- Solidarity among the Group’s companies.
This model, embodied by passionate and dedicated individuals, is our greatest asset to ensure our continued and harmonious growth servicing our clients. Every day, we strive to preserve and strengthen it by adapting to the technical, economic, and social changes of our environment, thereby displaying an ongoing and positive contribution to the economic, social, and environmental life of the regions where we operate.
To conclude, I would like to share my deep conviction that Climater has mastered essential knowledge and skills in the field of energy efficiency, allowing our clients to downsize their use of energy and cut into their costs without compromising on performance or comfort. That is, without a doubt, a promise of a bright future!

What a journey it has been over the past 35 years, who would have imagined that our family-based provincial Group would one day become an international organization?
There are many keys to our success, but I would highlight four:
- The Significant encounters made in our historical businesses, as well as with our financial partners;
- The constant desire to grow, both near and far from our original roots;
- The personal and collective commitment of each of us to serve our clients, this has been the driving force behind their loyalty and our market share growth;
- The sharing of value creation with our teams, this has been the glue that binds our subsidiaries together and strengthens the attachment of each of our 2,500 employees to Climater.
Since the beginning, our development has been driven by two engines: controlled organic growth, backed by strong technical and operational expertise, and a significant skill in executing acquisitions. We have always remained committed to a decentralized model, ensuring that Climater’s companies, which are the roots of the group, stay embedded in their respective ecosystems.
The long-standing stability of our management, office and on-site teams, along with our apprenticeship policy, guarantees this strong foundation and active participation in the social and economic life of our regions.
After 23 exceptional years building Climater, I have handed over the reins of this remarkable Group to Marc TROUCHAUD. He knows it inside and out, having played a key role in its development since 2007 as a shareholder and since 2013 as Managing Director.
We have already faced periods of cyclical instability in the past, the same we are facing today. Our core activities in energy transition, our decentralized and agile organization, the strength of the group supporting its subsidiaries, our geographic diversification, and the quality of our people give us every needed tool to overcome obstacles and look to the future with confidence.
